Our local Federal representative, and the Minister for Northern Development, Patty Hajdu visited our facility at Meaglow yesterday. We have had a number of federal government research grants in the past, including a current grant from the National Research Council (NRC), Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP). It was a good opportunity to show the minister how well our tax dollars have been invested in Meaglow. It was also good to let the minister know that there is a semiconductor equipment company in her constituency producing innovative plasma sources that are being sold internationally. We also had a chance to show off our new carbon capture technology, which is close to being released as a consumer product.
