The Cleanwynd UV-C air purifier units now have additional labelling and new manuals that are compliant with recent Health Canada requirements. An interim order by Health Canada has limited the sale and distribution of ultraviolet emitting equipment. The order was put in place because a large number of poorly designed and built ultraviolet devices were being imported into Canada, some of which were quite dangerous. Many are now being removed from the marketplace, however the CleanWynd units meet all requirements for exemption from the order. Quality makes a difference.
